Masoomeh Hajizadeh Oghaz, MS, CPH

Brief Bio

I am Masoomeh Hajizadeh Oghaz, a Ph.D. candidate in community nutrition and health promotion and graduate teaching assistant student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). My minor is in Educational Psychology. I received my certificate in public health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 2021.

My long-term objective is to continue my research on community nutrition and health promotion to better understand the relationship between food and disease, support quality and compassionate nutritional care, and strengthen community initiatives concerning public health and nutrition.

Research Interests

My current research interests focus on food assistance programs, community nutrition, health promotion, public health, and childhood obesity in order to help communities to get to their full potential.
